Rob Jammerman, Board Member, was raised in Ellensburg, WA, went on to attend Central Washington University, and graduated with a degree in Construction Management. In 1987 Rob began working for the City of Kirkland Public Works Department where he spent over 30 years managing the Development Engineering and Environmental Services Division. During this time Rob found how gratifying it was to help customers develop their property and navigate the permitting process. In 2018, after raising their family in Kirkland, Rob and his wife Lynda, felt a tug to move back to the east side of the State and specifically to Wenatchee. Rob and Lynda had always loved their visits to the Wenatchee area and knew it was the only place they would like to put down new roots. With a little divine intervention, Rob was hired by the City of Wenatchee where he serves as the Public Works Director. Rob’s tank is filled when he has an opportunity to help others. When he heard about Common Ground, he was moved by their mission and knew it was something he wanted to be a part of. He is hopeful that his 35-year career in construction and permitting can be used to help Common Ground succeed. When Rob isn’t working he enjoys all the outdoor activities the Wenatchee Valley has to offer and also loves to give back to others through youth sports coaching.
